Sitting still is hard to do when you're 2!
To raise money for EFY (Especially for Youth) Church Activity, our local Wards held an auction of promises. My offering was peanut butter cookies (absolutly yummy) and a children's photographic portrait session. The lucky bidders were the Webb family from our ward. This is just one picture from our session together, and my personal favourite.

Young Women's Photograph Editing Mini Class
For photography
- Basic Photo vignettes
- Removing elements in the background of a photo
- Lightening photographs (without using an action)
- Black and white photographs with colour spots
For scrapbooking/photography
I find these tutorials easy to follow and you can have a lot of fun editing your photos with them, I've used them all several times, it's just handy to have links to them all in one place.
Also a link to Jessica Bell's photoshop tutorials, I purchased Jessica's Actions some time ago, I currently use an old version of photoshop (because I'm set in my ways and I'm saving up for the full version). She has several great easy to use tutorial here, including making a watermark for your pictures, selective colour on a photograph, adding texture to a photograph and colour correction.

Tricky shot
I shouldn't have left this shot till last yesterday, It's one I've been wanting to set up for a while. My little boy really doesn't enjoy being on his tummy much and he was tired so didn't want me to take pictures at this point. This was the best of the bunch, and it's not too bad. The light was also doing bazaar things, and was actually a little too bright as you can see -casting quite a harsh shadow - or is that just artistic? I would prefer if both of his eyes were bright with those little catchlights that make for great pictures.

Six weeks
Nathaniel is six weeks old - it's gone so quickly. I'm going to try and chart the weeks and months with a similar picture of him, so that together they show how much he has grown.

Baby of mine...
This picture of Nathaniel was taken at just a week old. He is lying on the blanket that Grannie made, I just love it, and he's wearing the most adorable cashmere cardigan from Gap given to him by my cousin Becky. Can you believe he's almost outgrown it? I think this picture captures just a little of his bright little personality.
