New Branding...

Well, It's a record, my old logos lasted a couple of months. Out with the old and in with the new. I'm still tweaking, but I'm quite please with this look. I can't afford to purchase a design consultant, so I often don't have a lot of confidence in my own designs, but I have given alot more thought to this one, and I feel it will be more versatile, something that was lacking in the old design. Let me know your thoughts, I'd love the feedback.

Take time to look around my photography blog, I've included a lot of information about what you can expect from my business. My favourite area is the 'view your session' tab at the top, (under the header). It shows my photography work from the last few months, it's a great portfolio for my business.

Photographs for my home

As we continue with the seemingly never ending DIY projects in our home I have decided that enough is enough and have added a few finishing touches already. I took this picture a few weeks ago of my boys and have added it to the frame Jason gave me for my birthday last year. It looks so good on the dresser he made for me. I would post pictures, but I'm so tired of seeing unfinished walls without plaster on!

Beautiful baby girl - Weston-super-Mare Children's Portrait Photographer

This little girlies photographs are finally edited and ready to be delivered. I have to say, I'm so proud of them. I think they are some of my best pictures yet, but of course I had the most adorable baby girl to photograph. I absolutely love newborn photography.

I have used three different edits for the photographs - a soft & light edit (top), a soft & light black and white (bottom left), and I have included the original edited image (bottom right). As this was a portfolio building session I have included a copy of each of the photographs I edited as a thank you, in most of the styles above, unless in my professional opinion, I didn't feel the image was enhanced by being in a particular style.

I have a few more shoots lined up for the next few weeks - two more newborns and a family shoot, plus the weather has been so good lately I'm desperate to get down to the beach for some of my own family pictures. After that I'm looking for a couple of 'senior' models to complete my portfolio, then I'm just about ready to open for business.

Birth Announcements

I just picked up the most adorable birth announcement template for my business from the Album Cafe, and funnily enough the design is called 'Emily', I think they are just the sweetest.

Any photograph can be uploaded into the framed space and personal details added. They can then be printed in the usual way just like any other photograph. I will include the files on each newborn photo shoot disc, after discussing the details that need to be added!

I have included in this announcement another picture from my first newborn photography session, from a few weeks ago, the editing is coming along well, and I should have the pictures ready by Sunday. I actually think this little girly is the most adorable thing about these birth announcements!

I Love Packaging...

Ribbons, boxes, bags, tissue paper, stickers - this is my idea of heaven.

My stickers are from Moo. I just love this company, they are so much fun, it was a pleasure to use them for the printing of both my stickers and business cards.

Oh how I love these CD cases, I had real trouble tracking them down in this country, they are not easy to find.

Now I just need to deliver the finished product.

A little late I know, But I'm pleased with the final result. Aren't these girls just gorgeous? I'll have a disc ready shortly, packaged and ready to send. Phew..., so glad that's done. I have to say again that I loved every minute of it - taking the pictures, editing and I know I'm going to love taking the finished product round to Jenny's home.
