A walk on the beach

Nikon D80 aperture f/4.5, shutter speed 1/500s, ISO 200, Lens 18-70 @ 55mm.
Just a few weeks ago we went for a Sunday Afternoon walk down to the pebble beach in Weston-super-Mare. The boys (Jase & Tim included) enjoyed target throwing pebbles and I got the opportunity to take a few pictures. Nathaniel enjoyed rolling, crawling, and walking around. The light was so beautiful, and nicely defused as it was setting.

Photograph Editing

I cannot take credit for the photograph. That would go to Sam Kirby. He was a great choice as a wedding photographer, and we would highly recommend him. He has such a relaxed style, which matched Kate and Tim's personalities so well. Sam however left the photo editing to me. I've been looking forward for a while to sitting down and editing the pics - there are over 300, so I may be some time. This was Kate & Tim's favourite. What do you think guys? I may try a couple more edits, but as the purpose of the picture is for a thank you card I think it best it it stays colour!

My husband, how I love him!

Nikon D80 f/4.5, 1/50s, ISO 320, 18-70 @ 38mm, with another coffee shop action added.

Jason loves to help me develop my skills as a photographer, even if that means being in front of the camera. We went out on Saturday together with Nathaniel in the pushchair to take some pictures. The sky was mostly overcast which meant it was nicely diffused. We went out to Knightstone Island (not really a proper island) and found some great little spots for portrait photography. I'll definitely be going back there again.

Spring time light

Photography taken with Nikon D80 f/4.5 1/250s ISO320 18-70 @ 55mm, with a coffee shop action added.

It's so nice to have good weather so that we can go into the garden to take pictures. There is a little shady spot in our garden by the side of the house where we have a bench by our fence. Nathaniel felt like such a big boy sat on the bench for the first time. His little expression shows how proud he is of himself.
